1. Oprah Winfrey
In 2013, Winfrey was very busy; she was doing several celebrity interviews and also shooting for the
movie ‘The Butler.’ This was when she first experienced an anxiety attack.
Oprah recalled that during the initial phase anxiousness was marked by a weird numbness and speeding through different things and events in her life. When doing voiceovers, she found the act of shuffling through pages and reading the words as being abnormally high stimulation and over-workload on the brain. During this period she realized that she had to calm down, relax, and take a break from the hectic life.
2. Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried goes for regular therapy sessions to overcome her anxiety and panic attacks. Even though anxiety has subsided a lot, she still experiences episodes off and on.
Amanda has stated that over analysis of things and excessive thinking about even the most minor situations is what often triggers increased nervousness, anxiety, and worrying about her dog, parents, accidental death via falling out of apartment window, etc.
3. John Mayer
John Mayer is another one of those celebrities with anxiety. He has stated that fear of being in a mental clinic is what often triggers anxiety and panic attacks.
The biggest fear for Mayer was the process of growing up. Anxiety attacks were accompanied by breathlessness, palpitations, shivers, coldness, etc. Friends of the celebrity have stated that his mind raced at the rate of knots from one abnormal thought and fear to another during such anxiety and panic attacks.

Emma Stone has also stated that she used to suffer from severe panic attacks and anxiety before she began acting.
Stone recalled to the media that the anxiety episodes were really bad. Her first panic attack occurred when at a friend’s place; she believed that the house was going to burn down and had to call her mother who then took her back home. These abnormal thoughts persisted for the next 3 years.
She would continuously ask her mother about how her day was going to sort out to be; she would keep visiting the nurse on most days during lunch. Emma stated that constant confirmation about nobody dying and nothing changing occupied all of her time during this period.
5. Lena Dunham
This actor and creator of the TV show ‘Girls’ is also well-known for her celebrity anxiety.
In one of her interviews, Lena detailed the onset of a recent anxiety attack thus: ‘I will be 30 in 2 ½ years, 40 in 10 years after that, and 50 in 10 years from that.’ Such thoughts cause her many sleepless nights. Dunham has stated that she manages her celebrity anxiety by exercising.
She stated that exercise is not just for getting a better body; it is for betterment of the brain as well, and that ultimately will help better cope with anxiety and other mental health issues.
