Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a mental condition of increased worrying.   • The truth is, like all of us, people with GAD also want to socialize. However, they are unable to do so due to them being in a constant state of worry about everything. They are continuously worrying about disappointing others and suffer from a fear of failure or of making a mistake; this eventually prevents them from being a social person.
  • Anxiety tends to become worse when affected people have increasing percentage of negative thoughts and the cycle of negative thoughts tend to be constant, thereby adversely affecting their ability to socialize.
