Many of us don’t realize how important it is to bring greater awareness to the little things throughout the day. The particular moments I’ll be talking about in today’s podcast can either super-charge your recovery or keep you stuck in anxiety for good. Enjoy the episode!
It’s a loud world, and it’s only going to get louder. Information overload around how to heal anxiety can leave keep us in a perpetual state of fight or flight. Therefore it’s vital that if we want to stop being stuck in anxiety, we look at the repetitive things we do throughout the day a little more closely.
It is within these very moments that we have tremendous opportunity to re-train our brains!
Healing anxiety must not be complicated. In fact it should involve greater awareness coupled with practices that bring about a sense of safety. If we can master the way we respond to a handful of moments throughout the day we will no longer become stuck in anxiety. That doesn’t necessarily mean that your anxiety symptoms will subside instantly, but it does mean you will no longer be held hostage by them.
To no longer be stuck in anxiety we must first lose the fear around what we feel
This is a powerful moment in anxiety recovery. No more questioning our physical health, no more attachment to ‘what if’ scenarios about the future, no more identifying with being a sufferer. That is why the 5 moments I touch on in today’s podcast episode is so key. The subconscious mind (lower self) pays very close attention to how you respond to these particular moments. Therefore you must align with inner peace and safety in a way that it gets a clear message.
