Sure, we talk a lot about anxiety healing, but what are we really healing? It goes beyond just the symptoms and touches our soul, our spirit, and our identity. Understanding healing is crucial because it helps us determine when we are truly healed.

Anxiety disorder signs and understanding the true meaning of healing is key. 

Being specific about what healing means is important because our subconscious mind needs clear commands. So, what is healing then? Healing is a release from fear. Yes, that’s it! When we unconsciously become less sensitive to the environment, interactions, or new experiences, that’s when we know we are healing.

Consciously, healing means no longer being led by fear but being guided by love. When we operate from a place of love, things that once seemed threatening appear less so. The symptoms of anxiety may still persist, but we start looking at them with compassion and empathy, thanking them for reminding us to address something deeper within us.

In our journey towards healing, we often feel the need to fight against anxiety symptoms. However, resistance can make them persist. The key is to reach a point where we allow these symptoms to manifest and observe them rather than react to them. This shift allows us to rise in consciousness, away from negative states, and embrace empathy and positivity.

Healing doesn’t mean that anxiety vanishes instantly.

It’s more like being around a friend who used to bother you all the time, but now their actions no longer affect you negatively. Similarly, anxiety can still be present, but it no longer leads or controls you.

You have the power to choose how you respond to fear. Will you let your ego decide and let fear compound, or will you let your higher self respond with empathy and compassion? Recognize that you are more than anxiety, and use this understanding to face your fears with love and acceptance.

    A brilliant episode as always Dennis. I was scared at some point that my anxiety disorder would never leave, in spite of therapy and a week-long routine. It was like I came face to face with a stumbling block or resistance to let me heal. Eventually, the conclusion I came to is that to heal from anxiety, I have to understand myself more – like peeling the layers of an onion – until one day, I can walk without restraint.

    Movies are one of the ways I’ve coped with anxiety. One important thing I picked up when seeing one of my favourite shows is not letting fear determine my actions.

    Although some symptoms of anxiety still linger, I can say I am healing every day. I wish that anyone that reads this knows and accepts this truth.
