June 12, 2023

To end your anxiety for good mastery over these 3 parts to you must begin today. Enjoy the episode warriors…

Are you tired of feeling anxious and overwhelmed? Do you want to take control of your life and end anxiety for good? Then you won’t want to miss this episode of the Anxiety Guy podcast, where we discuss the three most important things to master within oneself to overcome anxiety.

In this episode, I emphasize on the need to disassociate from one’s past identity and create a new one to break the cycle of anxiety.

I highlight the three key things that must be mastered: breath, posture, and imagination (this YouTube playlist will guide). By mastering these aspects, you can take control of your organism and no longer allow society or past associations to guide or lead you.

I also recommend color breathing and power poses as techniques to help master breath and posture, respectively. I also stress the need for a dedicated and proven structure, such as my anxiety recovery program, to alter core beliefs and perceptions over past traumas and future uncertainties.

Remember, “Anxiety is a habit, and habits can be broken.” By mastering your breath, posture, and imagination, you can break the cycle of anxiety and create a new, more empowered identity for yourself.

So if you’re ready to take control of your life and end your anxiety for good, be sure to tune in to this episode of the Anxiety Guy podcast. And don’t forget to share it with others who may be struggling with anxiety.

Quotes

  • “Mastery simply means that you are taking over from something that has been overwhelming you in your past. So you are mastering something within yourself that has been largely unconsciously led for a very long time. “
  • “It’s very, very important to understand that it’s more important to unlearn rather than relearn because when you do start unlearning things that have been perpetuating your anxiety, you automatically start learning anyway.”
  • “For every posture you have a corresponding emotional state. For every emotional state that you have, you have a corresponding posture. This is very, very important. I challenge you to hold on to an empowered posture and see if doubt or empowerment lead your thinking. I promise you, there is no amount of fear made up by your lower self that can override your mindful posture.”

This is really helpful. Exactly what has been emphasized by my therapist in dealing with my childhood trauma. I had never felt enough while growing up. Having to dissociate my current identity from my past self has been an uphill battle. When it comes to handling anxiety, I believe the key is progress, not perfection. Loved the podcast

IMO the hardest part of mastering these 3 key aspects of mental health is taming Imagination. One minute, I’m fine enjoying a nice stroll when I suddenly remember having a looming issue. The next minute, I’m imagining how things could play to the 5th degree. Anxiety sets in. Tbh I really think it would not be that bad if things don’t play out the way I imagined. But then again, there’s this thing about thoughts and attraction. Now I’m left wondering: Is it anxiety or terrible risk assessment?

As I mention often in my YouTube videos, imagine the best consciously rather than unconsciously imagine the worst. here’s a future emotional reframing session I’ve put together that will help with any future catastrophic imagery.
